January into February.......

Well, so here I go. As I prepare physically and mentally to move my life, my family, my focus once again, I thought keeping a blog would be an effective conduit for sharing with family and friends my daily life, and the excitement with which I am so utterly imbued with at this juncture in time. In less than three short months we will be back in my beloved home state of California, living and loving on a permaculture ranch in Humboldt County. Four years in the beautiful city of Portland have provided us with enough experience to know that we don't want to spend our days in a car-filled, industry-laden, dog-eat-dog city. We will, however, miss many of the bright souls we've met in these last four years and, of course, my most cherished friend, R.M. Braucher (a.k.a. Dad), and his lovely wife Luby Wind. It is no secret that I am already scheming to lure them down to the ranch for good some day. So, with this mediocre introduction full of holes, I am off to type some more reports before I pick Ireya up from Giving Tree Preschool.
